Who we are…

I started work in the oil industry as a young graduate in 1994, employed by Oil Plus Ltd in the UK. The work involved a range of projects in the areas of Production Chemistry and Water Treatment and Injection, with a strong focus on travelling to site to obtain hard, reliable data to support subsequent studies.

During the following years, I moved up through the industry and became the Global Production Chemistry Lead for BG Group in 2013, followed by Senior Production Chemistry Advisor for the MENATI region for Baker Hughes in 2019.

After 30 years of working in 25+ countries, I still enjoy visiting operational sites around the world, meeting and working with other cultures and tackling the many and varied technical challenges that arise in the industry.

The benefit of experience, and from working within operating companies, is that it becomes easier to identify when to pursue in-depth technical analysis of problems or when a more high-level approach is appropriate.

I usually work as a single consultant, but have a wide industry network and can work with associates when required.
